Students from AP/ECE Spanish Language and Culture attended ECE day on Friday, February 21 at Western Connecticut State University. Students received their official WCSU College IDs, listened and participated in demonstration lectures for Mathematics/Robotics, Nursing and Communication, toured the campus, were treated to lunch at the WCSU cafeteria and then joined Señor GarcĂa on a stroll to the Mexican Bakery located on White Street in Danbury.
Overall, students enjoyed the experience and received invaluable information about the college admissions process and college life from WCSU professors, professional staff and current students. Pictured are Nicole Zambrano, Fernando Flores, Sarah Cilia, Jacob Pardalis, Katie McMorrow, Amanda Carlacci, Anabella Ebanks and Trinity Smith enjoying delicious Mexican pastries on their way back to NFHS.
NFHS offers ECE math and world language courses every year to students who want to get the college experience while still in High School.
